BRAND & MARKETING STRATEGY

Where Strategy Meets Execution

Fractional leadership and hands-on operations for businesses ready to turn marketing activity and messy internal processes into measurable growth.

You cannot sell a Ferrari with a Honda website and run it on a broken assembly line.

Most businesses think branding means slapping a logo wherever and making things "pop." They don't think about branding as strategy, the thing every campaign, post, and ad is either reinforcing or undermining. Post randomly on Instagram. Run ads with no strategy behind them. Tweak the website. Without a clear brand philosophy driving every decision, you're spending money without a strategy.

And most teams treat operations the same way: patched together, undocumented, held up without any structure beneath it.

Hello, I’m Ariela.

My path into marketing ops began as a creative, and I’ve seen the marketing and advertising world from multiple angles ever since: the agency side at sparks & honey, Omnicom, the in-house side at Sam Edelman as one of the first hires on a four-person marketing team, the Fortune 500 side at Discovery Communications, and the B2B side at Zelle, Early Warning. I've built brand identities from scratch, worked on million-dollar campaigns, and reported straight to leadership along the way.

  • "Ariela has a talent for identifying opportunities for improvement and turning complex challenges into clear, organized processes. Her ability to balance big-picture strategy with flawless execution makes her a true asset."

—Amy Thomas, VP of Marketing, Early Warning, Zelle

  • "Ariela expertly redefined the creative direction for the brand, led the development of functional yet inspirational creative guidelines, and produced some of our most successful content."

Jennifer Bender, Account Director, sparks & honey

  • “We needed to rebrand the company and Ariela came right in and got the job done, helping to establish a new identity, new systems and manage our team.”

    — Janet Salmon, Director of Marketing, CaptureRx

  • "Ariela helped us launch our Nashville-based event space with a flawless digital presence and strategy. Every opportunity has been clearly communicated to us and the numbers and buzz prove it."

HOW I WORK

Clarity first.
Then direction.

Most businesses don't need more marketing and more meetings. I come in, look at the whole picture, and get clear on what's missing, what's actually bottlenecking the work, and what to fix first. You get a roadmap sequenced by quick wins and longer builds. For clients who need more than a roadmap, I can implement the changes myself or oversee implementation.

This applies whether the problem is:

Brand, messaging, or marketing systems that aren't converting

Operational work that keeps stalling with no clear cause

Early-stage ideas or plans that need a real strategy behind them

More marketing activity rarely fixes your problem but strategy does.
